The new-generation of the 2024 Ford Ranger Raptor is in developing stage, and we can expect the new model to hit stores sometime next year. For those who didn’t know, this truck is a downsized version of the popular F-150 Raptor. In general, it is big as its brother, and it offers great off-road abilities.
The Ford Ranger Raptor is recognized by its unmistakable grille, flared fenders, rugged tires, and extra ground clearance. It is also worth noting that this model will only be offered in one body style, a crew cab with a five-foot cargo box. As the exterior, the interior of this truck is modern, featuring the new infotainment system.
2024 Ford Ranger Raptor Redesign
The forthcoming 2024 Ford Ranger Raptor is the pickup truck that’s positioned between the smaller Maverick pickup and the larger, full-size F-150. It looks sporty thanks to attractive front end with a front grille and eye-catch shaped headlights that perfectly blend. As on the regular model, the headlights of the Ford Ranger Raptor are C-shaped and wrap around the edges of the grille.
Moreover, unlike the regular variant, the Raptor has more aggressive 33-inch all-terrain tires, Fox live Valve shock absorbers, front and rear skidplate protection, four exhaust modes, and several off-road driving modes. Ford recently reveals that it will have a Rock Crawl mode and a Baja setting, which is ideal for high-speed desert driving.
Inside, the 2024 Ford Ranger Raptor will look sportier than its regular counterpart. However, it will offer the same roomy cabin for up to five passengers. The Ranger Raptor will also come only as a crew-cab body style with a five-foot cargo box.
According to many reports, it will offer an 14.1-inch touchscreen with Ford’s latest Sync infotainment software. We also expect Apple CarPlay, Android Auto, and a subscription-based Wi-Fi hotspot as standard features. Along with various options, you can get as built-in navigation and a 12-speaker Bang & Olufsen audio system.

From information that we got, the 2024 Ford Ranger Raptor will be available with a proven twin-turbo 3.0-liter V-6 that’s capable of making 418 horsepower and 440 pound-feet of torque. It’s basically the same setup that is under the new Ford Bronco Raptor.
Moreover, the engine comes with a 10-speed automatic transmission and standard four-wheel drive. According to the manufacturer, the maximum towing capacity of this truck is 2,500 kilograms or (5,512 pounds). In general, these are lower numbers than many of its competitors have.
How Much Will the 2024 Ford Ranger Raptor Cost?
Ford has confirmed that the new Ranger Raptor will reach the U.S. shores sometime next year. According to many reports, the starting price of this truck will exceed the top-of-the-line Ranger Lariat. The current Lariat costs around $40,000. As we said, the forthcoming Raptor rides on the same platform as the ordinary Ranger.
It offers great off-road abilities, and it has one of the sportiest interiors. Unfortunately, there are plenty of competitors in the segment, and we cannot wait to see how this truck will go against Chevy Colorado ZR2, and the Toyota Tacoma TRD Pro.
