The base model is powered by a naturally aspirated 6.6L V8 L8T gasoline engine, which is able to make 401 horsepower at 5,200 rpm and 464 pound-feet of torque at 4,000 rpm. This model is connected to the GM six-speed automatic transmission.
As an optional, the manufacturer offers the 6.6L V8 L5P turbodiesel Duramax engine, rated at 445 horsepower at 2,800 rpm and 910 pound-feet of torque at 1,600 rpm. Unlike the base model, this one uses a famous Allison 10-speed automatic transmission.
