2023 Ram 2500 Rebel Crew Cab Spied Testing

The new 2023 Ram 2500 Rebel Crew Cab model has been spied testing recently on the public road. Unlike the original Ram 2500, the Rebel model will bring more attractive design. This truck features Power Wagon grille, blacked-out versions of the Limited Longhorn’s 18-Inch aluminum wheels, a set of BFGoodrich Mud-Terrain tires, Power Wagon’s fender flares, and a new hood design.

On top of that, the Rebel variant will be powered by a very potent 6.7-liter Cummins turbodiesel. Interestingly, this engine can produce 370 horsepower and up to 850 lb-ft of torque, which is way more than many of its competitors.

2023 Ram 2500 Rebel Exterior

The 2023 Ram 2500 Rebel has recently been spotted, featuring way better styling than the original Ram 2500 model. The spy shots show a very attractive exterior design with some changes. As we can see, the forthcoming truck will have the same size as the base model, riding on the same platform. However, the Ram 2500 Rebel will finally get LED lighting, and a new hood as well.

As the Power Wagon model, the Rebel also has the same grille and fender flares. We like every detail of this truck, especially the new Olive Green exterior paint that is also available on the Toyota Tacoma model.

First Look Inside

The 2023 Ram 2500 Rebel looks modern and very sporty inside. Like the base model, the Rebel comes with the same seating layout that enables it to fit up to five passengers. The cabin is made of premium materials, and this truck is filled with many technologies.

It features a large 12.3-inch vertical infotainment system and the dashboard that has a new digital interface. Ram said the new truck will also support wireless Apple CarPlay, Android Auto, and a standard audio system. As for driver assist features, the manufacturer added blind-spot monitors, forward- and rear-facing spotlights, additional cameras, and much more.

2023 Ram 2500 Rebel Engine Specs

Under the hood, the 2023 Ram 2500 Rebel truck will come with a solo engine. Unlike the Power Wagon, which is so far the best off-road heavy-duty truck in the lineup powered by a gasoline engine, the Rebel, on the other hand, is powered by a diesel powerplant.

The Rebel variant uses a 6.7-liter Cummins turbodiesel that can produce 370 horsepower and up to 850 lb-ft of torque. As you can see, the Rebel comes with increased torque, which will provide remarkable off-road capability. According to some reports, this model will be able to tow at around 20,000 pounds.

2023 Ram 2500 Rebel Price, Release Date

As far as we know, the new Ram 2500 Rebel will start at around $50,000, and it will offer much more than the original version.

The sales, according to many reports, should begin later this year, most likely in the fall. If you are seeking a strong truck with great off-road ability, Rebel is a great option. However, in our opinion, the latest Power Wagon is a way more unique truck.
