The zero-emission GMC Sierra is coming next year exclusively in the popular Denali trim level. As far as we know, the 2023 GMC Sierra Denali which starts at $57,500 will bring more features than we tough. This pickup truck is the pinnacle on the offer and basically shares many elements with a luxed-up sibling, the all-electric Chevrolet Silverado. It features a futuristic-look, nice appointment cabin, and many more technologies compared to the original one.
However, the most exciting news is that it will ride on a new Ultium platform, the same we saw on the Hummer EV. As a brief refresher, the vehicle architecture is called BET1, similar to the Cadillac Lyriq’s that rolls on the BEV3. According to General Motors company, the upcoming Sierra Denali will be powered by 200 kWh lithium-ion battery and two electric motors.

When it comes to styling features, the 2023 GMC Sierra Denali is a truck that looks way more aggressive than any other model from this manufacturer. Still, the Sierra Denali isn’t much different from the basic models. The new truck features a massive closed grille and very attractive headlights.
As far as we know, along with the more attractive grille, the manufacturer will also add a new wheel, as well as a lot of chromes around the truck. Thanks to that, it will separate this luxury model from the rest of the trims. Mechanically, like the basic model, the Denali should use the same adaptive suspension, delivering great comfort and handling.
Cabin Features
Considering that the Denali is a top-range trim, we expect it to come with more exclusive details compared to the base one. First of all, this truck is roomy on the inside, and it offers excellent comfort for all the passengers. Actually, as the base Sierra, Denali trim keeps the same layout, and it can accommodate five passengers. However, unlike the base one, this trim offers a completely new dashboard design, with new aesthetics and nicer materials.
On top of that, there are lots of tech features. There is a unique steering wheel and a long list of standard equipment. Some of the highlights of the truck are a new 12.3-inch digital instrument cluster, 13.4-inch touchscreen, wireless charging, ventilated front seats, heated second-row seats, and power-sliding rear window etc.
2023 GMC Sierra Denali Motor and Battery Capacity Details
As the recently introduced Hummer EV truck, the new Sierra Denali will likely use the same 200 kWh battery. The ginormous battery has been certified by General Motors to provide around 329 miles (529 kilometers) between charges.
We also expect the all-electric Denali to use a dual-motor powertrain as standard, while three-motor setup could be optional. Unfortunately, we don’t have a clue if this model provides output of 1,000 horsepower, just like the Hummer EV Edition 1.
2023 GMC Sierra Denali Price, Release Date
Based on rumors, the forthcoming 2023 GMC Sierra Denali will start at $57,500 for the model with two-motor setup. However, a more powerful three motor configurations would cost you around $10,000 more. The GMC Sierra Denali is the pinnacle on the offer, and it should go on sale next year.
