The new 2023 Ford F-150 Raptor R has been spied testing, and it should go on sale in the summer this year. Besides more aggressive styling compared to the original Raptor, the R model will most likely be powered by a 5,2-liter V8 engine that we saw under the hood of the popular Shelby GT500.

This engine is able to produce around 760 ponies and 625 pound-feet (847 Nm) of torque. We must mention that this engine is so far the most powerful offered by the Ford Motor Company. The Ram’s TRX is the closest enemy to the Raptor R, and is powered by a 6.2- liter Hemi V8 that produces 702 horsepower and 650 pound-feet of torque.

As previously reported, the 2023 Ford F-150 Raptor R will look a bit different than the regular Raptor. According to new spy shots, the forthcoming model looks way aggressive. We first spotted a sporting details like a unique grille, gloss black wheels with beadlock capability, and a more robust rear suspension.

The grille is painted in black, and it holds huge Ford lettering. We also noticed on somehow different grille pattern compared to the original version. Overall, the design is very eye-catchy, and we cannot wait to see the final product.

Cabin Upgrades

As the exterior, we can also expect some changes inside as well. The 2023 Ford F-150 Raptor R will definitively look more sportier than the base truck. Unfortunately, at this moment, there is no available image of the cabin. From information that we got, Blue Oval will add new more supportive seats and probably some of the advanced technologies.

So, we can expect a much bigger infotainment system and likely more driver-assist features. The current Raptor is available with a huge 12.0-inch touchscreen that supports Sync 4 infotainment system. There is also standard interact with Amazon Alexa, and Raptor comes with wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto.
