One of the most favorite Super Duty trucks, the Ford F-250, will hit markets again with more improvements. The new 2023 Ford F-250 will reportedly arrive next year, featuring a robust design and many upgrades inside. As you probably know, this truck is available in two forms, with a regular Cab option or a Crew Cab. Both rides on a stiff platform, and as far as we know, the manufacturer will make its body of aluminum.
On top of that, the forthcoming truck will arrive with two engine options. Big trucks need big engines, so the 2023 Super Duty doesn’t disappoint in this department. The standard model comes with a gasoline 6.2-liter V-8, while optionally, you can get a more powerful 7.3-liter V-8 powertrain.
Is Ford Redesigning the F250?
The new 2022 Ford F-250 is a big Super Duty truck that looks more robust than any available model in the class. The base XL sports a refreshed design compared to the previous model, and it has 17-inch steel wheels as standard. The XLT is one upper trim that comes with 18-inch alloy wheels and a more attractive front end.
The Black Appearance package is now available with the lower XLT trim, and it brings many black accents. Lariat trim’s new Sport Appearance package also has a similar grille, but its housing a side mirror and bumpers in the same color as the body. Atlas Blue is the new exterior paint, that’s a mark of Blue Ovals company.
On the inside, the 2023 Ford F-250 is modern and is available in Regular and Crew Cab options. All variants are roomy and comfortable. The entry-level XL model comes with a single-zone air conditioning, vinyl flooring and upholstery, manually extendable side mirrors, trailer sway control, trailer tow package with 7-pin/4-pin connector, trailer hitch receiver, cargo bed lighting, and a removable tailgate.
The next-up XLT brings a few more features, while Lariat trim has an updated infotainment system, leather seating surfaces, and a leather-wrapped steering wheel. Lariat is available as the next trim. It houses dual-zone automatic climate control, power-adjustable pedals, front seats, leather seating surfaces, an updated Sync 4 infotainment system with a 12-inch touchscreen, and a 10-speaker Bang & Olufsen sound system. Platinum brings some extras like massaging multi-contour front seats and adaptive cruise control. Limited is the most expensive trim, featuring a dual-pane moonroof, dark ash wood trim, leather upholstery, adaptive steering, and so on.
Safety will mostly remain unchanged, including automatic on/off headlights, hill start assists, and an SOS post-crash alert system. We hope that Blue Oval adds some of the new driver-assist features to keep up with other models like the Ram 2500.
2023 Ford F-250 Powertrain Specs
Both 2023 Ford F-250 and F-350 trucks come standard with a gasoline 6.2-liter V-8 that makes 385 horsepower and 430 pound-feet of torque. This engine is potent, and it can easily pull this fascia. This engine hosts a standard six-speed automatic transmission, while most Super Duties feature a 10-speed automatic gearbox.
All powertrains will be available with either rear or four-wheel drive. The next engine choice is a gas-fed 7.3-liter V-8 that develops 430 horses and 475 pound-feet. However, the Ford F-350 is the most robust truck powered with a mighty Power Stroke diesel 6.7-liter V8. This engine summons 475 horses and an enormous 1050 pound-feet of torque.
