The 2023 Fisker Alaska is an all-electric truck that will debut in September. Judging from the first teaser image, the forthcoming model looks more like a pickup you’d see in a sci-fi movie. Yep, the Alaska isn’t ugly (subjectively) as the last year introduced Tesla Cybertruck.
Even Tesla fans admit that the Cybertruck’s design is more polarizing. In case you missed it, the Fisker Alaska pickup truck isn’t the automaker’s first foray into the EV world. Fisker Automotive also has the plug-in range-extended electric sports sedan called Karma in his lineup, as well as the Ocean SUV.
2023 Fisker Alaska Design
The 2023 Fisker Alaska is a pickup truck that looks like it is ready for adventure thanks to its wide stance enhanced by wider tires. This truck dominates at the rear with a short bed, horizontal design lines, and thin taillights. First images have been released, and the electric pickup comes with a lot of off-roading gears.
It rides on a large 22-inch wheels, featuring a skid plate and a sporty exhaust system. Also, the tailgate wears a recognized Fisker badge on it and large Alaska lettering in the middle.
Modern Interior
The interior of the forthcoming 2023 Fisker Alaska will be modern and very elegant. According to many reports, it will be similar to the one we have seen on the Fisker Ocean model. This means we can expect high-quality leather materials and seats that are really comfortable and supportive.
Much like a Tesla, the Fisker Alaska will host a huge touchscreen of 17.1-inch display that can rotate between portrait and landscape orientations. The infotainment system comes standard with a Harman/Kardon stereo, and it should also support wireless charging. The Alaska also comes with a solid amount of standard driver-assistance technology. It includes a 360-degree camera system, standard forward-collision warning and automated emergency braking, lane-departure warning and lane-keeping assist, and adaptive cruise control.
2023 Fisker Alaska Motor Specs
Like the electric models Rivian R1T and R1S, the new 2023 Fisker Alaska pick-up truck comes with two electric motors.
As far as we know, it will have an output of 225 kW and a range of around 480 kilometers, which is little less than 300 miles. We’re still waiting for more official information regarding motor specs, transmission, and exact millage.
2023 Fisker Alaska Release Date, Price
The manufacturer fortunately gave us more details about the upcoming truck, including a teaser of the vehicle’s profile. The new 2023 Fisker Alaska is featuring a very attractive styling. Unlike the odd Tesla Cybrertruck, the new Alaska really looks like it came from the future.
In the USA, we expect this model to arrive in the second half of 2022 and to start at around $40,000. As you can see, the Alaska is in the same ballpark as the Tesla Cybertruck that starts at $39,990. However, unlike the Tesla Cybertruck that uses one electric motor as standard, the Fisker Alaska offers two. The closest rivals to this truck are models such as the Rivian R1T, Tesla Cybertruck, and the Bollinger B2.
