On the technology side, we can make a safe assumption that the current touchscreen infotainment system of 8-inch will be replaced by a considerably larger one. The upper trim Denali offers a more premium cabin, which includes a Bose sound system, leather seats, and more.

Optionally, you can get a proven 6.6-liter Duramax turbodiesel engine that develops 445 horsepower and 910 lb-ft of torque. This engine is paired with Allison’s 10-speed automatic transmission.
Towing Capacity
The petrol unit will reportedly be able to tow 18,500 pounds, while a more powerful diesel powertrain can tow around 35,500 pounds.
2024 GMC Sierra Heavy Duty Price, Release Date
The new 2024 GMC Sierra HD will cost around $43,000, which is compared to the current increase of $2,000.
Of course, if you choose the luxury Denali trim, the price will rise above $70,000. As for the release date, we expect the new truck to arrive in the second half of 2023.
