The cabin will incorporate a large 13.4-inch infotainment screen mounted above a horizontal hard-button arrangement. The 2024 GMC Sierra HD will also boast an overhauled cockpit. It will introduce more high-quality materials, and it will incorporate a 13.4-inch infotainment screen mounted above a horizontal hard-button arrangement.
Also, the new truck will, for the first time, come with a fully digital instrument panel (gauge cluster). Every Sierra HD features standard Apple CarPlay and Android Auto. Anyway, the upper trims, like the Denali, will come with built-in navigation, a Bose audio system, a SiriusXM satellite radio, and a rear-seat entertainment system. Likewise, the truck’s safety system will be improved as well, and we can expect an excellent driving experience thanks to many advanced safety and driver assistance features. As far as we know, the new truck will come with 15 cameras to optimize the view around it.

Under the hood, the latest 2024 GMC Sierra HD will be equipped with the same naturally aspirated 6.6L V8 L8T gasoline engine. However, unlike before, this model will use a newer GM 10-speed automatic transmission.
Meanwhile, the 6.6L V8 L5D turbodiesel Duramax, is the most popular in the Sierra lineup. By the 2024 year, this engine will get a substantial increase in output. As far as we know, it will produce more than 500 horsepower and provide around 1,100 pound-feet of torque.

Because the new 2024 GMC Sierra 2500HD receives many changes and upgrades, its price will significantly increase. The base PRO model starts at $43,8000, while SLE is $48,600, SLT is around $58,400, AT4 is $66,200, and the most expensive Denali is $71,500.

Unfortunately, despite all the above, this model is outclassed by Ford Super Duty and Ram’s Heavy-Duty Trucks.
