The redesigned 2023 Nissan Navara will reportedly arrive next year with more handsome styling. Like the recently introduced Frontier pickup truck, the new Navara will feature the same design language. Thanks to a more futuristic face and blistered fenders, the freshly designed Navara pickup truck no longer looks like a blast from the past. From the information that we got, the upcoming model will also receive some upgrades inside. We expect the new generation to introduce more standard features and nicer materials as well.
Under the hood, some changes will happen from many gossips, and the Navara will replace an aging 2.3-liter diesel engine with a new V6 that produces 310-hp. The same engine is powering the Frontier model and is hooked to a nine-speed automatic transmission and rear or four-wheel drive. The most exciting news is the Off-road Pro-4X trim that will come with a much beefier suspension, an new electronic locking rear differential, and other rugged add-ons.
2023 Nissan Navara Redesign
The 2023 Nissan Navara will finally look more eye-catching than before. As mentioned, the upcoming truck will receive the same treatment as the Frontier truck. The boring design is gone, and thanks to the new design language, the Navara looks more futuristic. Still, this truck features some lines from its predecessor to keep its traditional and recognized design. For the 2023 year model, the manufacturer redesigned the front fascia, making it more head turner. First of all, the more attractive grille is present as the new C-shaped LED headlights.
We also noticed a new rear bumper, side steps, and much slimmer taillights compared to the Frontier model. Anyway, if you’re looking for a more off-road-oriented truck, the manufacturer also offers the Pro-4X variant. This is our favorite variant, and it features much more than any Navara model. This truck comes with a unique grille, sportier appearance, and excellent 17-inch wheels.
What’s New Inside?
As far as we know, the manufacture will completely redesign the cabin of the forthcoming 2023 Nissan Navara. Actually, we expect this truck to receive more standard equipment, much nicer materials, and plenty of new technology. Moreover, the design inside will vary depending on equipment and trim levels. However, expect even the entry-level model to be comfortable and great equipped. Like the outgoing variant, the new one will keep the same seating layout. The current truck is available with a very spacious cabin that has plenty of room for five passengers.
On the technology front, we should expect the updated infotainment system of at least an 8-inch touchscreen as standard. Like the Frontier, the Navara will also be available as the PRO-4X model. Unlike the regular variant, the PRO-4X will provide a much quieter ride thanks to the beefier suspension. On top of that, the PRO-4X offers much sportier seats, a black Nissan emblem on it, and more amenities.
Safety
When it comes to safety, the 2023 Nissan Navara is pretty well equipped. The current model received an impressive four-star rating from Euro NCAP, which is on par with its rivals. As standard, this model includes stability and traction control systems, seven airbags, a Forward Emergency Braking system, and two ISOFIX child-seat mounting points in the rear.
2023 Nissan Navara Engine Specs
If we rely on the latest rumors, the 2023 Nissan Navara will get some new engines. Interestingly, the aging 2.3-liter diesel engine will be reportedly replaced with the same engine that powers the Frontier pickup truck. That means we can expect the same V6 that produces 310-hp.
This engine is paired with a nine-speed automatic transmission and with rear or four-wheel drive. We also expect alongside this engine some of the more efficient, but also with less output. Many speculate that the next generation will be all-electric. However, Nissan is still quiet about all.
How Much Will Cost the 2023 Nissan Navara?
The 2023 Nissan Navara is the most recognized pickup truck on the road worldwide. Reportedly, the new model will be produced for South Africa and European markets next year. So, we are hoping that sales will start in late 2022.
The first images are available, and the new Navara looks more attractive thanks to the same design language as we saw on the Frontier truck. Unfortunately, pricing is not yet known, but we presume that it will be less than $30,000 for the model with less equipment.
