Unlike the original version, the exterior of the new off-roader looks more aggressive thanks to some modifications. As the regular truck version, the Nissan Frontier Pro-4X will use the same engine. Nissan offers the potent 3.8-liter V6 engine that’s capable of producing 310 horsepower. On top of that, the engine provides torque of 280 lb-ft.
Just like before, we’re expecting to come with the same 9-speed automatic transmission, sending power to RWD as a standard. Of course, you can still get the AWD system optionally. Considering that this truck uses a new platform, there is also rumors that Nissan might introduce a new engine, likely a hybrid one.

The 2023 Nissan Frontier Pro-4X is a pickup truck ideal for off-roading. Unlike the standard Frontier, the Pro-4x comes with skid plates, underbody protection, and increased ground clearance. From what we know so far, the new truck will cost around $40,000, which is a couple of thousand dollars more than the standard variant.
