The new 2023 GMC Sierra AT4X is an upcoming off-road pickup truck that will hit markets later this year. Unlike the original Sierra model, the AT4X version will bring many improvements. As we said, the upcoming 2023 GMC Sierra AT4X will be mechanically identical to the Chevy Silverado ZR2. This means we can expect it to use the same 6.2-liter V8 petrol engine that produces 420 horsepower and 460 lb-ft of torque.
Like the ZR2 model, it will be paired with the same 10-speed transmission and a two-speed transfer case. As one of the most capable off-roaders in the segment, the AT4X has the ability to take payload capacity of 1,430 pounds, while the maximum trailering is 9,000 pounds.
2023 GMC Sierra AT4X Release Date, Price
The new premium GMC Sierra AT4X pickup truck is expected to hit stores in the second half of this year. As we mentioned, this truck is based on the Silverado ZR2 model, and it shares the same mechanics with it.
