According to Tundra’s Chief Engineer, the latest model is literally all-new, sharing no parts with the current model. In general, everything is better on the new one, and we like its design. 2023 Toyota Tundra Redesign

The design of the upcoming 2023 Toyota Tundra is better than ever. Basically, the manufacturer redesigned its front fascia with new elements. We noticed a more massive grille, better-shaped headlights, and one piece of the black bumper that’s connected to the grille. Also, the manufacturer used more chrome around the grille. According to Toyota, rear box fenders, front doors, and the hood are of aluminum.

The LED headlights are standard, with projectors on upper trims, and all other lights inside this truck are using LED technology. The TRD Pro is available as well, and it will be more aggressive than any model in Tundra’s lineup. This trim is the most favorite, and it comes with a built-in factory light bar and unique running lights. However, all models include a much lighter and stronger tailgate that can be opened gently with the key fob or a unique switch near the driver’s-side taillight. From the information that we get, the new vehicle will be available in several different bed lengths, including 5.5 feet, 6.5, and 8.1.

Cabin Improvements

On the inside, the latest 2023 Toyota Tundra will be more lavish than before. The Double and CrewMax cabs are the most favorite options because of their roomy cabins. The new Tundra can seat up to six with a 3-person bench upfront or five with more comfortable front bucket seats.

Like before, the entry-level SR trim features a front bench covered with fabric, but vinyl is available in the Work Truck package. Overall, everything inside looks much cleaner and better, compared to previous generations.

Standard Features

The base SR Tundra is excellently trim that includes powered windows and locks, heated side mirrors, a fabric-covered front bench seat, a lockable/damped tailgate, and a rearview camera. Safety

As far as we know, the new Toyota Tundra will also introduce better safety features. The upcoming truck will reportedly include a “multi-terrain monitor, which will allow the driver to check the immediate surroundings for potential obstacles. We also expect Toyota’s Safety Sense P system to include pre-collision warning with pedestrian detection, automatic emergency braking, lane-departure warning, adaptive cruise control, and automatic high beams.

2023 Toyota Tundra Powertrain Specs

The 2023 Toyota Tundra is a strong truck that needs a powerful engine to pull its fascia. So, for the best performance, the manufacturer used a standard 3.5-liter twin-turbocharged 6-cylinder engine that produces 389 horsepower in the new model.

However, an newly upgraded powertrain generates up to 437 horsepower, which is a significant boost over the previous generation. In general, the automaker is increasingly reducing cylinders in engine configurations and make the engine more efficient. It also comes with a 10-speed automatic transmission, offering smooth shifting. As per the latest news, the 8-cylinder engine available on the 2021 model will no longer be available.
